About the RS3 Clue Scroll Leaderboards
The RuneStats RS3 Clue Scroll Leaderboards rank RuneScape 3 players by treasure-trail completions across all five tiers — Easy, Medium, Hard, Elite, and Master. Clue completion counts are pulled directly from the official Jagex hiscores activities feed on every player refresh, so the standings reflect verified totals rather than self-reported numbers.
Beyond raw completion counts, RuneStats also tracks rare clue drops as players receive them — Barrows dye, Shadow dye, Ice dye, Blood dye, Third Age equipment, and Gilded armour. Rare drops appear in the activity feed on the leaderboard page within minutes of the drop being detected.
How clue scroll rankings are calculated
Counts are differenced between snapshots: the leaderboard shows how many clues you completed during the selected timeframe (day, week, or month), not your all-time total. A player needs at least two snapshots within the period for their gain to be visible — one to set the baseline and one to register the completions on top of it. Premium users with automatic snapshots every 4 hours have continuous coverage; free users need to refresh manually at least twice within the window.
RS3 clue scroll tiers explained
RuneScape 3 has five clue scroll tiers, each with different level requirements and reward pools. Easy clues drop from low-level monsters and give starter rewards. Medium clues unlock at level 30+ with mid-game drops. Hard clues add Saradomin/Zamorak/Guthix equipment to the reward table. Elite clues introduce Third Age and dye drops at level 70+. Master clues — the rarest tier — require completing one of each lower tier to obtain a starter scroll, and their reward table holds the rarest items in the game.
